My mission: To inspire the Wairarapa community to embrace dance as a means of improving physical and mental well-being, fostering creativity, and building self-confidence.
No membership or experience required and absolutely no expectations!
Strength - Balance - move
Strength, Balance & Move is a class designed to gradually improve your cardiovascular fitness, balance, strength in your core, muscles that surround the hips, knees and ankles and as well as keeping mobility in joints while working at your own pace. We maintain the same routines each week, allowing you to grasp the movements and improve over time. Choreography is simplified for this class and designed to prevent injury and a faster recovery.
We take multiple breaks throughout the class so you are not expected to last the full hour. There is no dance experience required, just the dedication to want to improve and maintain your physical wellness and mental well being as you age. Wear comfortable attire for ease of movement, and don't forget to bring water and a towel to stay refreshed! ALL Fitness levels and dance abilitys are welcome.
